Either of the long, voluminous sort worn by priestly types and wizardly muckety-mucks, or of the fluffy thick sort that people used to wear after getting out of the shower before the bombs hit. Not much good for shrugging off the effects of combat, but better than running around in your skin.

I've been pondering the list of much needed things lately, and here's what I've got (if we want to remain competitive):

Robes will take some of the sting out of pistol rounds and the knives of the punks in Quartz, but don't expect them to hold up much in Needles and beyond.
* Skin and templates: done

* Navboxes: Create and add navboxes to articles. On me.

* Infoboxes: Create and add missing infoboxes.

* Pertinent information: Integrate decryptor information into the wiki

:Portals; one for the original Wasteland and one for Wasteland 2. I guess some "Did you know...?" content for the main page would be good as well. -- Porter21 (talk) 13:12, 17 March 2012 (UTC)

Just a few thoughts of mine regarding building up the wiki - take it or leave it, as you like :) Since this currently is a rather small wiki in terms of article size, I'd start by consolidating the existing content first - make sure the pages are uniform, complete, check the categorization (and category structure) etc. This kind of stuff is easier to do now since WL2 is quite some time away, and once the new content starts flowing in, the old stuff will be drowned. It's better to build a house on a olid foundation rather than a shaky one.

As such, you should consider establishing standard page layouts for the basic types of articles (items, characters, quests, locations etc). Once you have those, you can create preloads so adding the missing content will be alot faster and less painful.

Having some policies and guidelines from the get-go to make sure everyone's on the same page wouldn't hurt either. You could probably use most of The Vault's policies with little modifications - they're tried and tested, and on a basic level they should work for most RPG wikis.

Anyhow, just suggestions - it's up to this wiki's community where this wiki should go after all :) -- Porter21 (talk) 21:11, 19 March 2012 (UTC)

:I think it makes sense to treat this site, at least for now, as basically an extension of The Vault, and import layouts, policies, guidelines from The Vault where applicable. Ausir 21:42, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
